A leading international data centre developer and operator is seeking a Senior Director – End-to-End Data Centre Transformation to drive transformation across its expanding global portfolio.

This senior leadership role will focus on integrating the complete data centre lifecycle, from development and construction through commissioning, operational readiness and live operations.

The successful candidate will combine strong data centre expertise with transformation leadership, operating-model development and practical implementation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Transformation: Lead transformation across Day 0 (Development & Planning), Day 1 (Construction, Commissioning & Readiness) and Day 2 (Operations & Optimisation).
Operating Model: Design and implement scalable operating models, governance frameworks, standardised processes and portfolio-wide playbooks.
Programme Leadership: Oversee complex transformation programmes, integrating technical, commercial, construction and operational workstreams.
Digital & Systems Transformation: Drive implementation and integration of DCIM, BMS, EMS, CMMS/EAM and portfolio management platforms.
AI & Automation: Implement practical AI, predictive maintenance, operational analytics and automation initiatives to improve performance and efficiency.
Operational Excellence: Improve reliability, uptime, energy efficiency, capacity management and operational readiness across multiple facilities.
Stakeholder Management: Engage senior executives, technical leaders and delivery teams to ensure successful transformation and measurable outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

Senior leadership experience at Senior Director, VP, Head-of or equivalent level.
Strong exposure to the end-to-end data centre lifecycle, including development, construction, commissioning, handover and operations.
Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes, operating-model development or portfolio expansion.
Background within a hyperscaler, colocation provider, data centre developer/operator or leading strategy/transformation consultancy.
Demonstrated ownership of transformation implementation, beyond strategy and advisory.
Strong understanding of critical infrastructure, MEP, power, cooling, resilience and operational performance.
Experience implementing enterprise systems, governance frameworks, digital transformation and data-driven improvement initiatives.
Exposure to AI-enabled optimisation, automation or predictive analytics would be advantageous.
